Over The Road and Owner Operator Pay Increases!

Transport America is excited to announce new pay increases for Over the Road drivers and Owner Operators. We are committed to keeping our drivers happy by showing how much we value them.

The first of a two-part pay increase to our Over The Road (OTR) drivers. Effective July 31, 2011 our OTR force will receive an increase of at least one cent depending on level. Our second phase is coming in January where we will have another increase, raising our top pay to 45 cents per mile. As an organization, we are committed to paying the best while expecting the best from our drivers.

Performance and service are keys to our success. This performance based pay system will allow drivers to be paid at a higher rate per mile, while giving them the opportunity to advance to the top of the pay scale at a quicker pace. Drivers will have the opportunity to earn top pay in three to five years depending on experience.

Owner Operators will see an increase of 2 cents per mile and Owner Operators who have a valid Hazmat endorsement will see an additional 2 cents per mile for a total of 4 cents per mile. TA Owner Operators will also continue to benefit from our industry leading fuel discount and surcharge program, excellent maintenance services, exceptional miles, and our typical reimbursements.
